HOW DO I INTRODUCE YAK MILK DOG CHEWS TO MY DOG?

1) Choose the right size – When introducing Yak Milk Dog Chews to your pet, choose a size that is a little bigger than your dog’s mouth. It is OK to choose a larger size for a smaller dog, especially if your pet is a voracious chewer. As with any other dog chew, it is best to observe your pet consuming the chew for at least 10 minutes.
2) Introduce in a familiar environment – It is recommended to introduce Yak Milk Dog Chews (or any other ‘new’ chews) to your pet in a familiar environment and by familiar people. Dogs are naturally inquisitive animals and when surrounded by unfamiliar sights and sounds, chewing on something new might be the last thing on its mind.
HOW DO I STORE YAK MILK DOG CHEWS AFTER USE?
Yak Milk Dog Chews should be stored in a cool dry place, even when unused.
Once used, simply pat dry with a piece of tissue and place the Yak Milk Dog Chew in a dry airy corner. Do not keep the Yak Milk Dog Chew in a ziplock bag or enclosed area, as it will be unable to air dry. Do not keep the Yak Milk Dog Chew in the refrigerator as well, the dog chew will lose moisture quickly and cause it to become brittle.

Once your dog manages to work on the Yak Milk Dog Chew until it is of a small size, simply place the piece in a microwave for about 1 minute. The Yak Milk Dog Chew will puff up into a crackly marshmallow. Allow the puffed-up piece to cool and it’s now a edible dog treat!

HOW LONG CAN A YAK MILK DOG CHEW LAST?
Traditionally made in Nepal. these yak milk chews can last for about 5 years or more before use. In our tropical Singapore climate, we recommend a ‘best use before’ date of 2 years. To extend the shelf life, keep Yak Milk Dog Chews in a cool, dry place.
Although Yak Milk Dog Chews rarely go bad, if white/greenish fibrous spots are spotted on the dog chews, please drop us an email.
Once introduced to your pet dog, we recommend not storing the dog chew any longer than 1 week.
IS YAK MILK DOG CHEW TOO HARD FOR MY DOG?
Yak Milk Dog Chews are simply hard cheese made out of yak milk. So far, dogs of all sizes have no issue working on Yak Milk Dog Chews. However, if your pet dog is very young or has dental issues, please refrain from giving Yak Milk Dog Chews to your pet for the time being.
DO YAK MILK DOG CHEWS CONTAIN ANY LACTOSE?
Through the process of manufacturing the dog chew, lactose from cow’s milk has been removed. Any amount left in the dog chew is negligible and an adverse reaction to the dog chew is unlikely, as proven by the usage of Yak Milk Dog Chews by dogs all over the world. Nonetheless, if you dog experiences any allergic reactions, vomiting, diarrhoea, watery stools or other abnormal symptoms, please stop use immediately and bring your dog to a vet.
HOW OFTEN CAN I GIVE YAK MILK DOG CHEWS TO MY DOG?
Although Yak Milk Dog Chews are high in nutritional content, they are not meant to be meal substitutes and should not be treated as such. We recommend giving Yak Milk Dog Chews sparingly to your pet, up to a maximum of 2 pieces of Yak Milk Dog Chew per week.
